I was born and raised in Santiago, Chile, nevertheless, our household was a beautiful blend of cultures. My mother is of British descent and my father’s family is German. My mother maintained many traditions learned at home, among those was Afternoon Tea. Through her, I learned to bake delicious treats and to appreciate and love the romantic vintage tea time experience.
Although our lives in our native country were full and beautiful, our interest and appreciation for other cultures led us to the US. Being away from home has motivated me to seek community and build deep bonds with good friends. We would gather around a big pot of tea and homemade sweets to reset, recharge, and get a little taste of home. It was during one of these gatherings that Lovely Tea Parties was born.
We set out to be part of the growing network of female entrepreneurs in the Bay Area, CA. Our mission is to share the deeply nurturing experience that is seating around a table with good friends and good food.
